Patna: One died,8 students put their lives at stake to save student

Patna: One girl lost her life and 8 other girls were burnt due to electrocution at a higher secondary school in Jal in Darbhanga district of Bihar. Expressing deep condolences over the incident, CM Nitish Kumar said in his condolence message on Friday that the incident was very painful. He is deeply saddened by this incident.

The CM of Darbhanga has given a check with the said amount to the family of the deceased, the CM's directive to grant  Rs. 04 lakh to the family of the deceased girl. CM has also instructed to make proper arrangements for free treatment of all the scorched girls in this sad incident. They are also expected to recover soon.

Treatment of injured girl students is going on at the Jale Referral Hospital. According to the information received from Darbhanga, the student of class one Chanchal Kumari (8) died on the spot on Friday after being struck by an electric current in the iron gate of the said school.

DDC cum in-charge DM Tanay Sultania said the incident was being investigated and the culprits would be investigated after the action. In the case of negligence, in this case, the District Block Development Officer Rajesh Kumar has suspended six teachers of the school late in the evening.
