New Delhi: With the onset of winter, a series of accidents have started on the Yamuna Expressway. On Monday, 8 vehicles on the Yamuna Expressway collided strongly in Hathras due to fog. In this accident, 2 people lost their lives and many were injured. The injured were admitted to SN Medical College, Agra. Where a person seriously injured during treatment succumbed. After this accident, the District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police of Hathras reached the spot. Hathras SP Vineet Jaiswal says that the vehicle collided at around 7.15 am on Monday morning. In this, 2 people died on the spot, while the injured were rushed to the hospital. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. After the accident, the expressway was stirred. Whoever saw this scene was scared. After this, people ran for relief and rescue. Passenger vehicle drivers evacuated the injured and informed the police. The vehicles stopped on the Yamuna Expressway after the accident. In order to smooth the traffic, the police took over Bagdour and started the work of removing the vehicles from the accident. After some time the traffic was smooth. The accident occurred near Midhavali of Kotwali Sadar area of Hathras. Due to the haze, the Vehicle coming at high speed could not be seen clearly and one after the other eight vehicles collided with each other. Cars flew away due to the accident. Vehicles are being cleared with the help of cranes.
