New Delhi: The case of Sukesh Chandrasekhar, who cheated several wealthy people, including Aditi Singh, wife of former Fortis Healthcare owner Shivinder Mohan Singh, is gaining momentum. In fact, the Economic Offences Wing (EoW) of Delhi Police has written to Tihar Jail seeking an inquiry against 82 Rohini jail employees accused of assisting Sukesh. According to reports, the Economic Offences Wing has already detained seven jail employees in the case. Sukesh Chandrashekhar, placed in Barrack No. 204 of Ward No. 3 in Jail No. 10, Rohini, is mentioned in a letter submitted by the Economic Offences Wing to the Director-General of Prisons. The Economic Offences Wing now wants to continue the investigation of 82 additional jail staff in the case. The Economic Offences Wing looked at full last month-CCTV footage of ten CCTV cameras located around Sukesh Chandrashekhar's ward and found that they had all been shut down. From July 14 to August 14, 2021, this footage was scanned. Even a mineral water crate was placed in front of the cameras, and curtains were hung in front of them to make no records in these cameras. Sukesh used to spend a hefty sum of money every month in jail for good arrangements. Sukesh was charged with cheating and criminal conspiracy and an FIR was lodged against him on July 7 after receiving a complaint from the Economic Offences Wing.
