After humans monkeys get vaccinated, infection found in animals

The corona epidemic has started to affect humans as well as animals. After some gorillas have been affected by the coronavirus, nine monkeys of San Diego Zoo have been vaccinated with the corona vaccine. Zoo officials have confirmed that a total of 9 monkeys have been vaccinated with the corona vaccine in January and February. These monkeys are the first animals to be vaccinated after humans with the corona vaccine. Earlier vaccines were tested on dogs and cats.

The monkeys have been vaccinated after the corona case surfaced in the zoo's Safari Garden in January. A total of 9 monkeys have been vaccinated with the corona vaccine. Among them are four orangutans and five bonobos species. Officials said that eight gorillas had also been infected with the virus due to the contact of a zoo's corona-infected worker. Though the symptoms of the disease that were seen in them were limited to mild cough and fatigue, now they have fully recovered.

According to the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention, several zoo animals were found positive after corona vaccination. This is an experimental vaccine made specifically for animals by a veterinary pharmaceutical company. Several lions and tigers at the New York Zoo, a Puma in South Africa, a tiger in the Tennessee Zoo, a snow leopard at the Kentucky Zoo, and gorillas at a California zoo have also been found to be corona infected.
