Vidyut Jammwal starrer Junglee has turned out to be a decent box-office performer. produced by Vineet Jain and Priti Shahani, received mixed response from film critics upon its release on March 29.

The action-adventure film saw substantial growth over the weekend – it earned Rs 4.45 crore and Rs 6.05 crore on Saturday and Sunday, respectively to reach a respectable first-weekend total of Rs 13.85 crore. Keeping in view the current trend, Junglee will remain steady in days to come. The business, however, might be on the lower side during weekdays given that it’s primarily a film for children, who are brought to cinema halls by their parents mostly on weekends. Junglee released alongside the Pranutan Bahl and Zaheer Iqbal-starrer Notebook and managed to beat it hands down in the box-office race.
