New Delhi: Advising a corona test took a toll on the life of a Civil Defence Volunteer of the Delhi government. On hearing the corona investigation, a man attacked him with a knife and injured the civil defence staff. This is the case in the South East of Delhi. According to Delhi Police, at 10 am on December 25, the Police of Govindpuri police station received information that a fight had taken place between a public persona and a civil defence staff in which civil defence staff was injured. The same police reached the dispensary in Tughlakabad where 26-year-old civil defence volunteer Vipin Sharma was injured. The injured were admitted for treatment at AIIMS Trauma Centre in Delhi. Thereafter, the police nabbed Osama Raja, a 21-year-old criminal from the spot, when Osama was trying to escape with a knife. Osama was arrested by the police and a blood-stained knife was also seized. The same police have registered a case under Sections 186, 353, 332, 34 of the IPC against the culprit after the statement of the injured. In the investigation, the police revealed that the culprit Osama Raja had gone to Jagadamba dispensary in Tughlakabad where the victim civil defence staff Vipin had asked for a corona inquiry. Angered by this, Osama brought a vegetable cutting knife and attacked the victim.
