Kathmandu: On Wednesday morning, three separate earthquakes jolted parts of Nepal causing panic among the residents. According to reports by the National Emergency Operation Centre of Nepal, earthquakes with magnitudes of 5.2 and 4.3 hit the region. To be noted that reports inform that the quake struck Naubise in Dhading District at 6:29 AM and 6:40 AM respectively. It is to be noted that according to European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 on the Richter Scale hit Kathmandu at 6:14 AM on Wednesday. To be noted that according to reports, the epicentre of the shallow quake was about 40 kilometres (25 miles) southeast of Along and 180 kilometres southwest of the state capital Itanagar. However, it is worth mention here that on April 17, a quake of 4.5 magnitudes jolted Gorkha district in Nepal. To be noted that the quake was felt in Gorkha district and surrounding areas around 12:35 p.m, according to the National Seismological Center (NSC).
