A teenager shot dead while returning home after attending a wedding

Bareilly: A teenager was allegedly shot at by unknown men in the Sambhal district. The victim was a 17-year-old and was named Sumit Kumar. The victim was shot by unknown men in the Mannikhera village in the Sambhal district. The teenager is a student of class 9.

 

The police are stating that the victim might have shot himself accidentally. The teenager was allegedly shot at by unknown men in Sambhal. The incident took place on Thursday when the deceased was on his way back to his residence after attending a wedding.

According to source report, the father of the victim stated that his son was returning home after attending a wedding when he was shot at by someone. The father alleged that the accused were on two bikes. The father was informed about the incident when a passer-by noticed a man lying in blood.

The Station House Officer (SHO), Ravindra Kumar stated that villagers who were returning after attending the same wedding denied seeing anyone escape. He added that the police are suspecting that the teenager was carrying a country-made gun and that he might have shot himself by accident. He said that while the investigation is being carried out, the police are waiting for the youth to get better so that they can record his statement.

A similar incident happened in December 2018 when a man was shot with a country-made pistol while making a music video. The incident happened in Mumbai when Vijay Yadav was filming a video with Akshay Pawar and Avadesh Yadav. The three men were shooting a music video for social media in a godown when a loaded country-made pistol was accidentally fired at Vijay. Vijay was injured on his thigh and was admitted to a hospital.
