The Army Day Parade will also include a military contingent of men. The woman officer who will lead the parade is Tania Shergill. Tania Shergill is the captain in the Army's Signal Corps who has got the responsibility to lead the parade this year. Tania Shergill, who holds a B.Tech degree in Electronics and Communications, joined the Army in March 2017 from the Officer Training Academy, Chennai.
