A young person from an international network of young Daesh supporters is detained in Italy

Milan:  A young person believed to be a member of the Daesh terror network who was allegedly planning an explosive attack in his neighbourhood has been detained by Italian authorities, according to police on Tuesday.

The young person, who was identified as an Italian citizen of foreign descent, was detained in the province of Bergamo on suspicion of involvement with terrorism, training in terrorism, praising terrorism, and inciting others to commit a crime.

Other members of the network of young Daesh supporters were reportedly detained last week in Europe and the United States, according to Italian authorities, who did not provide any additional information.
