Chennai: In Tamil Nadu, a man allegedly attacked the car of Makkal Nidhi Mayyam Party (MNM), President Kamal Haasan, on Sunday. Kamal Hassan was returning from Chennai by addressing an election meeting at that time. However, they have not been hurt in the incident. According to the report, the man who attacked Kamal Hassan's car was beaten up by MNC workers and others and later handed over to the police.

However, the full picture of the case has not yet clarified. No statement has come from the police side about the incident. The incident happened Sunday when actor-politician Kamal Hassan was addressing a public meeting in the wake of the April 6 elections in the state and was going to his car towards a hotel in Chennai. At the same time, a person attacked his car. A party leader has given information about it.

He said that Kamal has not been hurt in the incident but his car has suffered a little damage. In a tweet, MNM party leader and former IPS officer AG Maurya said, "The windscreen of the party chief's car has been broken and the person who attacked has been handed over to the police. He further said that the party is not afraid of such miscreants."
