Renowned Malayalam actor Midhun Manuel's "Aadu 2" is taking the hilarious comedy to hilarious heights. At the same time the film is a laughter riot in which real comic dialogue, satire and slap spoofs are combined to make a film bomb. Also like its first part, the film also leads to the exodus of Shaji Pappan and his cronies. The plot is the same, with the difference being contemporary issues such as being contemporary. Also, it is a very lighthearted plot which means to enjoy it without thinking too much. At the same time, what makes the film above average is that comedy is tough and many of them are sure for our colloquial speech. With this, the manner of Midhun Manuel with comedy must surely be praised.

Shaji Pappan appears in "Aadu 2" with his two-colored Mundu (already a hit among the youth) and a bang with his rustic charm. Mundu is designed by his costume designer wife Sarita Jayasuriya. Also, going by the right word is a whirlwind of the film Masti. Everyone from Shaji Pappan to Sathyan Xavier is hit due to tough performances in "Aadu 2", while the gangs plot various schemes. For Shaji Pappan and the team, they hope to make some quick bucks by winning a tug-of-war contest.

Shaji Pappan appears more heroic here than the first part and the character is bigger on screen. The comic brigade led by Dharmajan Bolgathi's hilarious Reet and others colored the film. "Aadu 2" could have been made pithier. The songs are fine though none are memorable. Shaan Rahman's BGM is a big plus.
