AAP names BJP as greedy mother-in-law for MCD rent waiver case

New Delhi: The second day of the special session of the Delhi Assembly started with an uproar. Aam Aadmi Party MLAs have demanded a CBI inquiry in the alleged 2500 crore rent waiver case in MCD. A large hoarding related to this demand was put in the assembly on Friday. Aam Aadmi Party MLAs accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of corruption during the session.

Saurabh Bhardwaj has lashed out at the BJP for speaking about the MCD Rent Waiver. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that MCD is like our daughter, which we gave to BJP and today BJP has become a greedy mother-in-law. However, the conflict between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party has increased over the funds in the MCD in Delhi. While AAP is alleging a fraud of Rs 2500 crore in MCD, BJP is seeking fund of Rs 13000 crore of MCD. BJP has launched a campaign in Delhi to demand this fund.

In this episode, the AAP government has organized a special session of the assembly regarding this alleged scam in the MCD. When the session started on the second day, the MLA of the Aam Aadmi Party kept demanding the CBI inquiry on the MCD rent waiver case.
