Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan made a shocking revelation about his father

Aamir Khan's last theatrical release was the film 'Lal Singh Chaddha', which also starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya. However, the film flopped at the box office. On the other hand, Aamir's son Junaid Khan has made his film debut with the Netflix film 'Maharaj', which was well received by fans.

Aamir Khan's retirement plan

In a recent interview with Times of India, Junaid Khan made a shocking revelation. He said that his father Aamir Khan had thought of taking retirement. Junaid said, "When I was shooting for 'Maharaj', Papa (Aamir Khan) was working on another film of the productions, and at the same time Kiran (Rao) was making 'Missing Ladies'. At that time Papa was in his retirement phase. He told me, 'I am retiring, why don't you take over.'"

The challenge of filmmaking

Junaid Khan also said that filmmaking is one of the most difficult jobs. When his father was going through the phase of retirement, he took over the responsibility of production. Junaid believes that it is very important to have a good understanding of filmmaking.

He also said, "Aamir and Reena Dutta were not worried about his debut film. They were happy and Papa liked the film very much. Aamir Khan never came to my set nor did he say anything about my debut film. He only came on the first day of shooting and then he directly watched the film."

The team of the movie 'Maharaj'

The film 'Maharaj' is directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra. The film also stars Jaideep Ahlawat, Shalini Pandey, and Sharvari Wagh.

Aamir Khan is back

Aamir Khan is all set to entertain the audience with the film 'Sitare Zameen Par' this year. This film is a sequel to his 2007 directorial debut 'Taare Zameen Par'. This year is going very well for Aamir Khan and his family. While Aamir's spirits are high even after the flop of 'Lal Singh Chaddha', Junaid has made a successful start to his film career. Now it remains to be seen how much the audience likes Aamir's next film 'Sitare Zameen Par'.
