AAP in court's dock as SC to hear plea against 'Kejriwal' and 'Kumar Vishwas'

New Delhi: On Thursday, the Supreme Court will hear an appeal of Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with a criminal case. Yesterday, the counsel of AAP leader stated the case for immediate hearing.

Assistant Election Officer filed a Fir against Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader on April 20, 2014 during the Lok Sabha elections for making confrontational dialogues in Gauriganj area of Ameth district.

The supplicants had confronted the orders in Allahabad high court on the basis by saying that they had all the required permissions for a gathering and there was no prohibitory order in force at the time of supposed offence.
