Patna: The personal assistant (PA) of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan has been detained at Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The passenger has been identified as Noman Ahmed, a resident of Abul Fazal Enclave, Shaheen Bagh, Delhi. Noman Ahmed had reached Patna airport to go to Delhi by SpiceJet flight. When the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel checked his hand baggage, a 7.65 mm cartridge was recovered from him. However, Amanatullah Khan's PA did not have any license for the weapon. After which he has been handed over to Patna Airport Police. During the interrogation of the police, Noman told that he is the PA of AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan from Okhla, Delhi. They had come to Patna with the bag of the MLA's PSO. By mistake, the cartridge also got into the bag. According to sources, the Airport Police Station has got the license of PSO's arms from Delhi. An airport official has informed that Noman Ahmed had a ticket for SpiceJet flight number SG-8390 going to Delhi at 9.20 pm on Sunday night. After check-in, at around 8.23 pm, CISF personnel checked the passenger's hand baggage in the security hold area. During the security check, it was found that there were cartridges in his bag. On search, a cartridge was found from the bag. During interrogation, Noman could not give any information about the cartridge.
