New Delhi: Senior Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi on Monday (September 2) expressed strong support for Rahul Gandhi, viewing him as the future Prime Minister of India. Singhvi praised Gandhi for his sincerity and directness, contrasting these qualities with what he described as the Prime Minister’s lack of transparency. Singhvi remarked that the perception of Rahul Gandhi is evolving, noting that despite past criticisms and trolling, there is now a grudging admiration for his genuine approach. "People realize he means what he says and says what he means, which is exactly the opposite of what the Prime Minister does," Singhvi stated. On whether Gandhi should be considered a future Prime Minister, Singhvi affirmed, "Whenever the Congress comes to power, '100 per cent'." He emphasized that Gandhi has earned the right to claim the Prime Minister's post if the Congress returns to power.
