Actor Naga Shaurya's father Shivling Prasad arrested by Hyderabad Police

Tollywood actor Naga Shaurya's father Shivling Prasad was arrested by Hyderabad Police on Wednesday. He is accused of gambling at his farmhouse. The police produced Prasad in the court. Shivling Prasad, who took the farmhouse on lease from its owner, was arrested for alleged violation of lease terms.

Police raided a farmhouse at Manchirevula in Narsingi and arrested 30 people, including former MLA Sriram Bhadraiya, for gambling. A case was registered under the Telangana Gaming Act at Narsingi police station under the limits of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. Barring the main accused Gutta Suman Kumar, all others were later released on bail. Tweet Police had initially said that Suman had rented the farmhouse for a day from Prasad, who had taken the property on lease for the shooting of the film. However, Suman organized the gamble by inviting several people including an MLA and some realtors. Police seized Rs 6.77 lakh in cash, 33 mobile phones, three cars. Suman, who was allegedly involved in some cases in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Vijayawada, was detained by the police. He too was released on bail two days back.
