London: The UK government finally announced its separation from the European Union on 31 January. Britain's PM Boris Johnson confirmed BREXIT and stated that Britain is now officially out of the European Union. He said, 'Tonight we separated from the European Union (EU) and this is a historic occasion for Britain.' He said that 'now together we will take full advantage of all the opportunities arising from BREXIT, this will highlight the potential of the whole of Britain'. Significantly, the UK officially exiting the European Union (EU) will strengthen India-UK relations. Now the status quo will remain on the trade and trade operations between Britain and the European Union, but Britain will get complete freedom for new agreements and partnerships around the world. Lord Karan Bilimoria, the founder of Cobra Beer and vice-president of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), has said that India will be an important trading partner for Britain and that Britain will be able to choose its new future once it is out of the European Union.
