Afghan conducted an airstrike to eliminate a total of eight terrorists in Nahr-e-Saraj district of the southern Helmand province. An army statement released here on Tuesday said that eight terrorists killed fighting planes struck a Taliban hideout in Nahr-e-Saraj district of the southern Helmand province on Monday. The statement further said that acting on a tip-off, the fighting planes targeted a hideout of Taliban terrorists in Nahr-e-Saraj district late Monday, killing eight insurgents on the spot. It further added that the security forces with the support of the air force would continue to target the armed insurgents elsewhere in the country. Meanwhile, despite the peace talk, the violence is increasing in Afghanistan. Two days ago, at least two people were killed and five others wounded in the explosion, which appeared to target security forces in the Afghan capital. The video, taken in the immediate aftermath, showed bodies bloodied and blackened lying on the asphalt, while two small children can be seen crying over an unconscious woman.
