300 Taliban militants killed in just 24 hours, Afghan army on the verge of terrorism

Kabul: Afghan forces are constantly fighting a war to curb the growing Taliban dominance in Afghanistan. In the recent past, Afghan army personnel has achieved great success in the same vein. Within 24 hours, Afghan forces have killed 300 Taliban militants. Afghanistan's Defence Ministry on Thursday informed in this regard.

 

 

In a tweet, the Defence Ministry wrote that 303 Taliban militants have been killed and 125 injured in Afghan army operations in the last 24 hours. The operation was carried out by the Afghan army in Nangarhar, Laghman, Ghazni, Paktika, Kandahar, and other surrounding areas. A large number of weapons have also been recovered during this period. In addition, Afghan security forces have launched a major operation in Lashkargah, the capital of Helmand province, and requested residents to evacuate Taliban-occupied areas.

Afghan security forces have warned that Taliban militants are using civilian homes as fighting positions. According to Afghan media reports, Special Operations Corps commander Hezbollah Alizai said an evacuation operation was launched in Lashkargah city on Wednesday night.
