After 24 hours of getting power from the Supreme Court, Kejriwal government again reached SC with the complaint, know why?

New Delhi: The ongoing tussle between the Center and the Delhi government over control of services has not stopped yet. Within 24 hours of getting the authority from the Supreme Court, the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government has once again moved the Supreme Court. In fact, now the Kejriwal government has complained to the central government that the order to remove the services secretary was not cleared. Chief Justice (CJI) DY Chandrachud has said that he will consider listing it.

In fact, Kejriwal government took the first major action within a few hours after getting strength from the decision of the apex court. As soon as the government got the services department, in-charge minister Saurabh Bhardwaj issued an order to immediately remove secretary Ashish More and appointed Anil Kumar Singh in his place. Now the Kejriwal government has reached the Supreme Court with a complaint that the central government is not allowing this order to be implemented. Actually, the situation regarding the Chief Secretary, Services Secretary, Vice Chairman of DDA and MCD Commissioner is not clear yet. Many former bureaucrats and legal experts believe that these powers will remain in the hands of the Center.

Let us inform that, earlier on Thursday, the Supreme Court gave a big decision in the 'Delhi Government vs Center' dispute. The Supreme Court gave the Kejriwal government the authority related to the transfer and posting of officers. The constitutional bench of the apex court said that except police, land and law and order, the administrative officers of other departments will be controlled by the Delhi government. A five-judge bench headed by CJI DY Chandrachud said in a unanimous decision that Delhi is different from other union territories because it has an elected government.
