Akshay Kumar is doing great in his career. He has given back to back hits and now is to judge a laughter show. As we heard Akshay singing the song Mujh Mein Tu in Special Chabbis and also had rapped with Snoop Dogg in the title track of Singh is King in 2008. And now the actor will be seen singing a song on TV on the reality show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. As per the source close to the show, “Akshay Kumar will be seen as a judge on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge with three mentors Zakir Khan, Mallika Dua and Hussain Dalal and super mentor Sunil Grover. Akshay has sung a parody song for the show and also choreographed it himself. He will also be seen dancing to the song with the mentors and the super mentor. The song is a parody on laughter and is for a special episode. It will be part of the opening act for one of the episodes which will air later. This the first time that Akshay is singing for an Indian TV show. He has hosted Khatron Ki Khiladi earlier but never sang on it. Akshay will be seen doing some exciting stuff with a brand new avatar on the reality show.” In addition to singing, the actor penned lyrics of the song also, “Akshay loves to be part of every creative process of any project that he is associated with. Few know that he enjoys singing and even gave time to record it in the middle of his busy schedule as he is shooting for Gold in London. He didn’t do any rehearsals. Ashvini gave him a scratch and he went straight for the recording. The show is being produced by Ashvini Yardi. Akshay made his cult TV debut with Ashvini when she was Programming Head at Colors channel so one is expecting a lot of new things in this show. There will be a lot of such fun elements on the show," reveals the source.
