Ronnie Screwvala's RSVP Movies recently announced the new project 'Chhatriwali.' Actress Rakul Preet Singh was supposed to be seen playing a condom tester but now the big news is about the movie which can make people waiting for the film unhappy. According to reports, the makers have decided to close the Rakulpreet Singh starrer Chhatriwali though there is no official announcement at present.
The same is said to have been based on the same issue as the recently released Aparshakti Khurana starrer 'Helmet' on the OTT platform. In which Apar came up with a film on a public issue that people do not discuss. The film explained the hesitation of individuals to buy condoms.
The story of the same movie was strong and new and the film did not do well due to not much excellent performance of the stars. Ronnie Screwvala's failure to shut down the project is also a Helmet failure because he understands that the subject was not liked by the audience. So, it would not be right to take risks. When Rakul was signed in the movie the director had said that Rakul will play the role of a condom tester. Which aims to end the shame of using condoms.
