After winning Golden Globes RRR won Two Critics Choice Awards in these categories

One of the most prestigious awards of the entertainment industry,  Critics' Choice Award were recently announced. The event was held Los Angeles on Sunday. After winning the Golden Globe, filmmaker Rajamouli's magnum opus film 'RRR' has won the Critics' Choice Award for Best Foreign Language Film. RRR’s  song Naatu Naatu also won an award for Best Song. 

 SS Rajamouli's blockbuster Telugu film RRR has registered a double win at the 28th Critics Choice Awards 'RRR' was contending against films such as 'All Quiet on the Western Front', 'Argentina 1985', 'Bardo', 'False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths', 'Close' and 'Decision to Leave'.  The film won the Critics Choice Award for Best Song for the hit Ram Charan and Jr NTR dance number, Naatu Naatu, and also for the Best Foreign language film.

A Twitter handle of RRR shared a video with the caption, "Naatu Naatu Again!! Extremely delighted to share that we won the #CriticsChoiceAwards for the BEST SONG #RRRMovie Here's @mmkeeravaani's acceptance speech!!" MM Keeravani after winning the award said, "Thank you so much I am very overwhelmed with this award. I am here to receive this wonderful award by the critics. Thank you all the critics, on behalf of my chorographer, lyrics writer, my singers, my programmers and of course my director."

Speaking of RRR, it is a fictional story set in the 1920s pre-independent era and is based on the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries – Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Ram Charan played Ram, NTR was seen as Bheem. The film has grossed over Rs. 1200 crore worldwide during its theatrical run.
