New Delhi: Presidential elections are going to be held in America this year. Twitter and Facebook, who have faced allegations of favoring the ruling party in the 2016 elections, have brought new rules, but even then the debate has started in India on the rules of Facebook. Senior Congress leaders in India Digvijay Singh and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi have questioned the credibility of Facebook. Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted, 'Why do Facebook have different standards in different democracies? What kind of fair platform is this? This report is detrimental to the BJP - it is time that BJP's relationship with Facebook has been revealed and the nature of BJP's control over Facebook employee has also come to light.' Congress leader and former Madhya Pradesh CM Digvijay Singh has targeted Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg on this issue. Digvijay wrote in a tweet, 'Mark Zuckerberg please talk on this. PM Modi's supporter Ankhi Das was appointed on Facebook, who deliberately approves anti-Muslim posts on social media. You have proved that you do not follow what you preach.' Why does Facebook have different standards in different democracies? What kind of "neutral" platform is this? This report is just as damaging for BJP - it's time that it disclosed the full extent of its relationship with FB & the nature of control BJP exercises over FB employees https://t.co/ytPXNlwgXF — Asaduddin Owaisi (@asadowaisi) August 15, 2020 Also Read- Donald Trump's younger brother dies, President used to call him 'Honey' Rains keep on gushing Telangana; rescue teams gear up!
