New Delhi: Air Asia India took off two air passengers who did not follow the guidelines issued in the country amid growing cases of coronavirus infection. The passengers were sitting in the middle seats on Monday in a flight from Goa to Mumbai and refusing to wear PPE kits. Indigo has handed over two passengers who did not comply with the rules to the security authorities in the last three days. According to officials, Air Asia India took action against two passengers who did not wear PPE kits. Indigo handed over the passengers of two different aircraft to security officers at the destination due to refusal to wear masks. The Indian Aviation Regulator (DGCA) on Saturday instructed airlines to unload passengers who do not wear masks 'properly' even after repeated insistence. These incidents have come to know when there were reports in the media on Wednesday that Alliance Air had handed over four passengers to the security agency for not wearing masks properly on Tuesday. Air Asia India spokesperson confirmed the incident and said that even after repeated insistence, two passengers were refusing to abide by the rules.
