Air India told DGCA: Not to violate the rules of alcohol testing

Over 500 pilots and crew members of Air India are in the scope of the DGCA to not make compulsory 'Alcohol Test', but the company has told the aviation regulator that no violation of the rules is there. 

Meanwhile, union ICPA of the pilots of Air India has said that if the employees of the company were suspended, they will be agitating against a senior officer of the DGSA.

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) found that 132 pilots of Air India and 434 crew members did not make compulsory alcohol tests before and after the flight this year. 

According to sources, Air India CMD Rajeev Bansal told the DGCA that the pilots should not get the punishment of the mistake which they did not have.
