Now air travel is expensive too! Increased Jet Fuel Prices

New Delhi: There is big news for air travellers. In fact, on the first day of the month of April, the price of jet fuel or air turbine (ATF) has increased. Yes, according to the recent information received, oil marketing companies have increased the prices of jet fuel by up to 2 per cent. After this, the price of jet fuel has reached a record of Rs 1,12,924.83 per kilolitre. Let me tell you all that the prices of ATF have increased for the 7th time this year. At the same time, its prices in the national capital have increased by 2 per cent i.e. Rs 2,258.54 per kilolitre, after which the price of ATF has reached Rs 1,12,924.83 per kilolitre.

We also inform all of you that jet fuel prices are revised on the 1st and 16th of every month based on the average international price. At the same time, since the beginning of the year 2022, the prices of ATF have increased. Since January 1, there has been a seven-fold increase in fuel and this year ATF prices have increased by 38,902.92 kilolitres or about 50 per cent.

However, there is also some good news today. In fact, the state-run oil companies have released the rates of petrol and diesel today i.e. on Friday. In such a situation, there has been no increase in oil prices today i.e. on April 1. Let us tell you that the rates of petrol and diesel are stable in all the four metros, including the national capital Delhi. Yes, and today oil prices have not increased across the country. By the way, you all must have known that the rates of petrol and diesel were constantly increasing for the last several days. According to IOCL's latest rates, the petrol price in Delhi is Rs 101.81 per litre and diesel is Rs 93.07 per litre.
