A Russian missile has struck an airfield in Oleksandriia, Kirovohrad area, Ukraine according to Serhii Kuzmenko, mayor of Oleksandriia, Kuzmenko commented on the incident that occurred on Friday, saying: "On April 15, at 10.26 p.m. (Ukraine local time), a missile hit on airfield infrastructure in the city of Oleksandriia occurred. The search and rescue mission is still underway." The air-raid alerts in the Kirovohrad region, as in many other parts of the war-torn Ukraine, lasted from 10.30 to 11.32 p.m. local time and were sounded again at night and in the morning, according to Ukrayinska Pravda. As per Ukrayinska Pravda, Russian troops have damaged Hostomel near Kiev, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsya, Lviv, Starokonstantyniv (Khmelnytskyi district), Dnipro, and Myrhorod (Poltava region) airfields. Earlier, Russia's defence ministry has stated that its forces used high-precision long-range weaponry to destroy the production structures of an armoured vehicle facility in Kyiv. The strikes also struck a military maintenance station in Mykolaiv and one Ukrainian SU-25 aircraft near the city of Izyum in Kharkiv, as per Interfax.
