New Delhi: The battle between the ruling party and the opposition continues in Assam before the Assembly elections 2021. Meanwhile, recently, a video of All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal went viral on social media. In this, he is heard saying that 'India will become an Islamic nation.' After this, opposition parties and BJP leaders have attacked him fiercely. Now Badruddin Ajmal has given a clarification on this. All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) chief Badruddin Ajmal has said, ''The video being viral is 100 percent fake. If you watch the actual video, it will show that I said that 'Hemant Biswa Sharma calls me Mughal. I asked that the Mughals ruled India for 800 years, but did they ever think of making India an Islamic nation?" On this people said a clear 'No.' Badruddin Ajmal further said, 'This is a 100 percent fake video. Many of my statements have been presented by twisting together. They want to see that if the AIUDF-Congress comes to power in Assam, they will make it an Islamic state.' Earlier in February, Home Minister Amit Shah also attacked Ajmal and Congress during a public meeting in Assam. He said that Congress has joined hands with Badruddin Ajmal's AIUDF in the greed for power in Assam. The Congress's greed to gain power in the state will not be fulfilled and the BJP along with its ally Assam Gana Parishad, a symbol of Assamese identity, will win the assembly elections by a two-thirds majority. #AIUDF is partner of #Congress.
