Akhilesh Yadav Calls BJP's Outsourcing Recruitment an 'Economic Conspiracy' Against Marginalized Communities

Samajwadi Party (SP) president Akhilesh Yadav criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government for outsourcing recruitment to government positions, calling it an "economic conspiracy" targeting marginalized groups.

On Thursday, November 21, 2024, Yadav took to social media to express his concerns, sharing a newspaper clipping and an advertisement announcing that positions like Tehsildar, Naib Tehsildar, Revenue Inspector, and Lekhpal were being filled through outsourcing. He argued that this move was an attempt to undermine the constitutional right to job reservations.

In his post on social media, Yadav said, “It would be better if the BJP outsources the entire 'government' so that all its commissions come from one place. This way, they wouldn’t have to face the hassle of giving a few jobs while ending reservations under their pretext.”

Yadav emphasized that job creation was not part of the BJP’s agenda, repeating his earlier claims. He further accused the BJP of conspiring against the "PDA"—which stands for Pichhde (backwards), Dalit, and Alpsankhyak (minorities)—through this outsourcing policy.

The SP leader urged the BJP to immediately withdraw this proposal and not strip away the constitutional right to job reservations.
