Lucknow: The government led by CM Yogi Adityanath in Uttar Pradesh presented the budget for the financial year 2021-22 on 22 February. The UP government presented a budget of more than 5 lakh 50 thousand crore rupees. Assembly elections are due next year, the Yogi government has made several announcements to make the budget populist. The former CM and Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav has criticized the budget of the Yogi government of UP. Akhilesh tweeted on the budget presented by the government headed by Yogi Adityanath. Former CM Akhilesh has said that in the paperless budget, farmers, labourers, youth, women and businessmen did not feel anything. Everyone's hands remained empty. SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said that this farewell budget of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is not liked by anyone. Former UP CM and opposition SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has also used the hashtag 'Don't want BJP' in this tweet. Assembly elections are to be held in the state next year. This budget is considered to be the last budget of this tenure of the Yogi government. The Yogi government presented a paperless budget of more than Rs 5 lakh 50 thousand crores this time. This is the biggest budget of UP till date. CM Yogi Adityanath had said that the budget has given a new flight to the hope, energy and new possibilities of UP amidst the tragedy of global epidemic corona.
