Farmers' Protest: SP President Akhilesh Yadav slams BJP's Chaupal

Lucknow: Akhilesh Yadav, the National President of Samajwadi Party (SP) and former CM of Uttar Pradesh, has been continuously targeting the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government over the farmer movement. In support of the farmers on Sunday, Akhilesh tweeted that by becoming 'the bard of the rich, who are sitting in the courts. Those villages came out to spread lies in street Chaupal.

The BJP has started press talks and Chaupal in various cities of the country from Friday. Through this, the BJP is explaining to the farmers the benefits of the agricultural law brought by the Modi government. The farmers have been strongly opposing the three agricultural laws brought by the central government for the last two weeks. Several rounds of meetings have been held between the government and the farmers, even after this, no solution has been found.

Earlier, Akhilesh had attacked the government on the issue of farmers and said that the BJP government is ignoring the farmers heartlessly by taking a heartless attitude to the legitimate demands of the agitators staring at the streets. The global response that is coming to this, has deeply hurt the democratic image of India worldwide. BJP government should stop exploiting the nurturers.
