All Covid related restrictions dismissed in UP

Lucknow: In view of the decline in the cases of corona infection, the Uttar Pradesh government has lifted all kinds of restrictions imposed on Covid. A notice was issued by the administration on Thursday, according to which the restrictions on social gatherings in the state have been lifted. Now swimming pools, water parks and Anganwadi centres will be opened in the state.

According to the order issued by Additional Chief Secretary Avneesh Awasthi, marriages and public functions will also be completely exempted. This means that there will be no longer a maximum limit at the wedding, though it will be mandatory for guests to wear masks and follow social distancing to avoid infection. He said instructions have already been issued to open multiplexes, educational institutions and gyms etc.
