Allu Arjun celebrates 2 years of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo; Pooja Hegde posts video of fans enjoying the movie

The lead actors, Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde celebrated the success of their hit Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which has been in theatres for two years. While AA posted a few behind-the-scenes photos to recall, Pooja released a video of fans going crazy in the cinema while watching their favourite song, 'Butta Bomma.'

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, directed by Trivikram Srinivas and starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hedge, was one of Tollywood's biggest successes when it was released in January 2020. Fans from all around the world have flocked to see the movie and listen to the music. The film's songs were well-received by Tollywood, Bollywood, and foreign audiences. Celebrities such as Shilpa Shetty, Raveena Tandon, and cricketer David Warner have all danced to the film's songs.

 

The film was such a hit that a Hindi version is in the works. The Hindi remake will be directed by Rohit Dhawan, son of David Dhawan and brother of Varun Dhawan, according to reports. Allu Aravind and S. Radha Krishna, the makers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, will co-produce the Hindi remake with noted producer Ekta Kapoor. According to reports, Kartik Aaryan will play Allu Arjun's character Bantu in the Hindi remake, while Janhvi Kapoor will reprise her role as Pooja Hegde.

Sushanth, Samuthirakani, Murli Sharma, Tabu, Jayaram, and Nivetha Pethuraj appeared in supporting roles in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Thaman composed the music, which is still popular with the general public today.
