Chiranjeevi’s son-in-law Kalyan Dhev's debut film has recently been released. The film didn’t get good response from the audience but a success party is organised for the actor in Hyderabad on Sunday with Allu Arjun as the chief guest.
The party was supposed to start at 1 o’ clock in the afternoon, got delayed because of Kalyan Dhev, who came late.
Chiranjeevi is known for his discipline and punctuality to date. But it seems his son-in-law, who is new to the industry, doesn’t believe in following in his footsteps.
According to person present in the party revealed that“Bunny (Allu Arjun) was waiting at home from 12 noon onwards to come to this event, but Kalyan didn’t come, so he kept waiting, adding that although Kalyan was with Chiranjeevi at the latter’s house, he didn’t respond to any calls. Finally, the event organisers called Kalyan and told him that Bunny had to attend a family lunch at which point, Kalyan started from home.”
The female lead Malavika Nair also arrived early and kept waiting for Kalyan, with the organisers requesting her to wait it out.
Kalyan Dhev arrived at 1.45 pm. And sadly, the actor did not even apologise for his tardiness. “I just landed some time ago from Vijayawada,” he said as he began his speech. Interestingly, many of the team members, who also landed from Vijayawada, came to the event on time.
Allu Arjun praised Kalyan Dhev for his debut performance and congratulated him. The actor also expressed his wish to work with Sai Korrapati, the film’s producer.
