US to give 500 million corona vaccine to India, first consignment to come soon

New Delhi: A large scale vaccination drive has been launched in India. The Government of India is considering exporting vaccines from the US to further section the war against corona. Talks between the two countries are underway for this purpose. Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar recently made a five-day visit to the US. He held talks with the Biden administration and local pharma companies to buy pfizer vaccine.

Now there are reports that India may get 200 million pfizer vaccines by December. India will get the vaccine from the us directly along with the COVAX campaign. The United States has decided to give a large-scale vaccine in the World Health Organization (WHO) COVAX campaign. In an interview, India's Ambassador to the US, Taranjeet Sandhu, has informed about this. He also said that if all goes well, PM Modi may visit the US by the end of the year.

Let us tell you that, India is going to get 500 million vaccines of Pfizer. Out of these, 20 crore are estimated to be received by December. The remaining 30 crore vaccines are likely to be received early next year.
