Meanwhile amid the box office clash the actors and director of both films are showering their love on each other. PS 1 actor Jayam Ravi took to his social media and showered his love for Vikram Vedha. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, and Sharib Hashmi. Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, Vikram Vedha is the Hindi remake of their 2017 Tamil film of the same name. It is a remake, the original film which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi was a massive hit. Filmmaker duo Pushkar and Gayatri, who directed the original too. Meanwhile, the movie in terms of advance booking lagged behind Laal Singh Chaddha and Shamshera. Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s popular novel on the life of Raja Raja Chozhan, Ponniyin Selvan: Part One has a screenplay written by Mani Ratnam, Jeyamohan and Kumaravel. PS1 will be the first of a two-part film series. It stars South Star Vikram as Aditya Karikalan, Karthi as Vanthiyathevan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini, Trisha as Kundhavai, and Jayam Ravi as Arulmozhi Varman.
