Amit Shah to hold meeting with leaders in charge at party HQ

New Delhi: Home Minister Amit Shah is meeting with the BJP leaders in charge of organisational affairs at the party headquarters after the party won a ragged victory in the Lok Sabha polls. Vasundhara Raje, Uma Bharti, Dilip Ghosh, Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, JP Nadda and Bhupendra Yadav have also arrived to join in. The meeting is expected to discuss the party's upcoming electoral strategy.

As per the information received from sources, earlier on 9th June, Amit Shah had a meeting with senior leaders of Haryana, Maharashtra and Jharkhand. These states are to have assembly elections within a year. Amit Shah has been meeting continuously since he was sworn-in as the home minister in the new government. He also convened a high level meeting on the day of Eid. In addition, he had also taken information of the country's internal security. In which naxalism and terrorism were discussed in particular.

With this, elections to the party units in all States and union territories can be held in the states of Haryana and Maharashtra with assembly elections. This will be followed by the election of the party's national president.
