Amit Shah to embark on a two-day visit to Arunachal from Saturday

New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Arunachal Pradesh for two days starting Saturday. The Home Minister will attend public events, inaugurate various development projects, and interact with personnel of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITB) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). The Central Armed Police Forces under the Ministry of Home Affairs deployed in the region to guard the country's border and maintain internal security during his two-day visit to the northeastern state from May 21 to 22.

On his first day in the state, the Home Minister would attend the 'Swarn Jayanti Samaroh' in the Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh at roughly 11.40 a.m. At around 2.45 p.m., the Home Minister would visit Parshuram Kund in the Lohit district. On the second day, Shah will meet with social organisations at 9.30 a.m. in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, and then pray at the Golden Pagoda Temple nearby.

At 11 a.m. on Sunday, the Home Minister will attend a public meeting and inauguration in the Namsai district, where he will lay the foundation stones for several development projects.

Later that day, the Shah will meet with Army, ITBP, SSB, Assam Rifles, Border Road Organization, and National Highways Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDLC) officials at Namsai to discuss security and development. He will partake in Bada Khaana, a communal dinner shared by all ranks of Army soldiers and CAPF members.
