Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi unite for a mystery thriller

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s last release Badla got appreciated by the critics as well as the cinegoers.  Now, the actor is all set to team up for the first time with Emraan Hashmi for an untitled mystery thriller, which will be directed by Life Partner helmer Rumi Jaffery.

Talking about the film, the producer told Anand Pandit, "My friendship with Mr Bachchan goes back a long way. I have not met any other actor, who matches his skill and commitment. It is an honour to be a part of creating a film with him. I have always admired Emraan’s body of work, so am looking forward to seeing him on screen with the legend for the first time. Given the subject of the film, I do believe we have a winner in our hands."

The film will be produced by Anand Pandit and is scheduled to hit the screens on February 21.  The team also  film will go on floors in May this year and the latest reports suggest that Big B will play the character of a judge in this untitled venture.

On the workfront, After Badla, Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Nagraj Manjule's Jhund. The actor is essaying the role of Vijay Barse, a Nagpur-based retired sports teacher who starts a slum soccer movement, in the feature. It is co-produced by Krishan Kumar, Raaj Hiremath, Savita Raj Hiremath, Manjule alongside Tandav Films Entertainment and Aatpaat Production.
