Amitabh starts distributing food packets in Mumbai to feed the needy

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan told on Thursday that he has started distributing 2000 food packets. Let us tell you that Amitabh will distribute lunch and dinner in many places of Mumbai and due to Coronavirus, Amitabh Bachchan has decided to help the poor and the needy. In fact, in addition to these packets, Amitabh Bachchan is going to deliver 3000 bags of goods for a month.

According to the information received, Amitabh wrote in his blog, "On the personal front, 2,000 packets of food are being given each day for lunch and dinner at various locations over the city and the larger bags of a monthly provision, about 3,000 bags, which would take care of at (least) 12,000 mouths is in process." With this, Amitabh told that, 'They are helping people living in places like Haji Ali Dargah, Mahim Dargah, Babulnath Temple, Slum of Bandra and some more slums in North Mumbai. It was very hard work to deliver the goods to all of them, but they hope that everything will be fine soon. '

With this, he further wrote, 'This process has its problems. It is considered illegal to leave homes due to the lockdown. So even though I have prepared the food bags, there is a problem in transporting them from one place to another. Further, Amitabh also told, 'Officials say that when the packets reach the people, the people living in the slums run towards the car. There is a danger of a stampede which the police cannot allow in the environment of social distancing. '

In fact, he himself has emphasized that wherever food is being distributed, people should draw the right line. With this, social distancing can be followed. With this, he wrote, 'Thank God that volunteers are working hard even in difficult times. They are taking care that everything is done well. This is a very difficult task, but what can you do. The lines are getting longer by the day. Let us tell all of you that Amitabh Bachchan has spoken about supporting one lakh daily wage laborers every month and these daily laborers are from All India Film Employees Confederation. With this, Amitabh told that, 'After the start of the process, they are keeping their eyes on him, hope that in a few days I will get the data of the distributed salmon.'
