While Amitabh Bachchan has come forward to help the debt-ridden farmers, he has also extended his hand in helping the families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. On the occasion of the launch of KBC 10 in Mumbai, Amitabh Bachchan said that spending of Rs 1.50 crore will be due to the payment of outstanding dues of 200 farmers families immersed in debt. Similarly, the amount of Rs.1 crore will be distributed among 44 families of martyred soldiers. The head of the century said, "The government has got a list of 44 martyred families, for whom we are preparing 112 demand drafts." He said that financial help will be distributed among the martyred families according to the government system. According to this, 60 per cent of the help amount is given to the wife, while 20 per cent is given to the mother and the remaining 20 per cent is given to the father. Big B said, "We are preparing drafts keeping this system in mind." Amitabh Bachchan said that the farmers who are involved in debt, they are distressed by the news of suicide due to non-payment of loans. He remembered that many years ago he was shooting in Vizag, he read the news that farmers have suicides due to non-payment of 15,000, 20,000 and 30,000 loan amount. Amitabh Bachchan said that after returning to Mumbai, he helped 40-50 such families at that time. The superstar said that he is giving the amount of Rs 1.50 crore to the debt of 200 farmers families.
