His works like comic satirical writing, RadioNatak, Essay have enhanced the dignity of Hindi literature.' Amritlal Nagar was born on 17 August 1916 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. He was born in a Gujarati family. Amritlal Nagar thought it appropriate to follow the path of Swadhyaya. Under this method of study, he gained knowledge of subjects like literature, history, mythology, archeology, psychology, sociology etc. He also gained knowledge of Hindi, English, Bangla Gujarati and Marathi languages. Amritlal Nagar was a famous Hindi writer. He also made significant contributions in the fields of drama, radioshows, reportage, essay, memoir, translation, children's literature, etc. Amritlal Nagar died on 23 February 1990.
