Vij has taken the initiative to expose the scamsters of the municipal corporations on the initiative of the independent MLA of Maham. He has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for this. Scamsters of many municipal corporations can come in the grip of this SIT. Balraj Kundu had complained of a scam in Rohtak Nagar Nigam and its Urban Bodies Minister constituted this investigation team.

Kundu wanted to investigate the complaints submitted by him to senior IAS officer Dr. Ashok Khemka, but Vij has formed an SIT under the leadership of the Director of Urban Bodies. Balraj Kundu is satisfied with this decision of the Urban Bodies Minister. The documents he handed over to the Urban Bodies Minister are about 70 pages. There are many scams registered in these documents, in which many white-collar officers and officers can come under scrutiny. The SIT will now investigate not only the Rohtak Municipal Corporation alone but also several other municipal corporations.

In order to get the matter investigated, Minister Vij submitted all the documents submitted by KITU to the SIT. Vij also said that if such complaints are received then the scope of their investigation should be extended. For example, if Rohtak Municipal Corporation If there is a scam in the street light, then it should be investigated that where the company concerned had the work and whether it has messed up elsewhere.
