Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij is not satisfied with the power given to the SET in the liquor scam between the lockdown and the corona transition. He has written a letter to the Home Secretary about this and asked to increase the powers of the SET. Now this matter will once again reach the court of Chief Minister Manohar Lal, only after which advance action will be taken. Vij has said that the powers of SET should be extended under section 32 of the CrPC. After which the SET will give its report to the government along with the recommendation of action. Presently, the SET has only the powers to dig records. The term and condition are also written in the SET which has been constituted. Under which the SET has been given the responsibility of investigating liquor warehouses. Congress preparing to open front against Yogi government To settle the case, the SET has also been given the responsibility to match the record of the sealed liquor godowns and tell the government at what level the irregularities have occurred. Anil Vij wrote a letter for the formation of SET, in which his first choice was Ashok Khemka. Senior IAS officer Sanjeev Kaushal and TC Gupta were also named. The government has constituted the SET headed by TC Gupta in this matter whose terms and conditions have been fixed. Now that the SET has started its investigation.
