Anupam Kher, an actor, author, acting coach, and producer, has been enthralling audiences for almost three decades. He has appeared in more than 500 films in several languages. Anupam Kher was born on March 7 in Shimla, India, to a Kashmiri Pandit family. He attended the DAV school for his education. He enrolled in the National School of Drama in order to follow his acting dream.

Anupam Kher said during a media interview that he experienced facial paralysis during filming "Hum Aapke Hain Koun" and told the director Sooraj Barjatya about it, informing him that his face was twisted but he would still shoot.

Anupam Kher Prizes and honours: The actor, who founded the Anupam Kher Foundation in 2008 as a public charity, has received five Filmfare Awards for his comedic performances in movies. He has also won eight consecutive Filmfare awards for playing various supporting characters. In addition, the Indian government recognised him with the Padma Shri in 2004 and the Padma Bhushan in 2016 for his contributions to the arts and film.
