After Bengaluru match between Indian Cricket Team and Australian Team, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is clutched in the bounds of taunts. After dressing room ruckus, Australian team players and media were continuously criticizing him. Former Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Anurag Thakur responded to their taunts on the social media. Anurag described the situation as a "disgraceful and arrogant". Thakur was removed by the Supreme Court due to Lodha committee recommendations. Anurag's post twitter reads, "DISGRACEFUL behavior by Australian media & @CricketAus officials in the way they are talking abt a legend of the game @viratkohli." He further added, "It's the fault of @BCCI & complete arrogance of @CricketAus who've always tried to dictate terms in cricket and target players." He later said, "What sort of 'truce' was this? @BCCI compromised the integrity of their #TeamIndia Capt @imVkohli & didn't stand by their players & team."
