PM Modi's 'New India' will cash in Kalam's 'Vision 2020': Jitendra Singh

 

New Delhi [India], July 17 (NT): Union Minister Jitendra Singh has asserted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's `New India` initiative will cash in former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's 'Vision 2020'.

Jitendra Singh's statement came while he was giving the APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial address in the national capital Delhi yesterday.

"Prime Minister Narendra Modi's New India will redeem Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's Vision 2020.'Vision 2020' was not only a numerical vision but actually a vision of 'New India' also envisaged by Prime Minister Modi," the minister was quoted by ANI as saying.

On this event the Minister of State (MoS) in the (PMO) Prime Minister's Office also presented Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Awards to the civil servants for working in public interest.

The Minister asserted remembering the former president that being associated with Kalam was learning and tremendously inspirational experience.

During his address,  Jitendra Singh further asserted that former president's public and private image had no inconsistency. He also talked about the scientific magnitism of Dr.Kalam. (NT)
